hydraulic brake conversion

I have a 29 Model A Four Door Sedan that I am converting to a Roadster style.
I have never restored an A before and need some advise about
whether I should convert from the mechanical braking system to
hydraulic brakes.Anybody have any Pros and Cons for me?
Also, I've heard some "speed shops" have conversion kits with
virtually everything I need.Anybody know where these shops
are and how to get in touch with them.
I don't even know what range of $$$ we are talking about.
Please advise with any information you may have.Thanks
