I don't think anyone will argue that hydraulic brakes are safer. But before you do this, remember that the value of your Model A will be somewhat less, as it won't be original. Also, properly restored roadsters generally are worth more than sedans, coups, etc.I may get arguments on this, but I sold my 31 Roadster for 14K back in 1984.Wouldn't hurt to get other opinions about this.Maybe you will get a lot more responses to your note. Now, if you do decide to convert, like I did on my 1930 Deluxe Coupe, you will need parts from a 1939 and up Ford. This was the first year Henry had hydraulics widely available on his cars.I used a 1965 Mustang Master cylinder bolted to the back of the "U" shaped crossmember.THis location allows you to cut a small hole right in front of the seat riser to access the filler cap.At least on my coupe.I designed a offcenter bekkcrank linkage to push the rod into the master cylinder. Some parts houses offer spacer rings to mount the later backing plates. There's a lot of help out there, Joe.That's what the hobby is all about.

That should be "bellcrank" Joe..Sorry.If you need more help, write me at
