More Help Needed

More help!I think that I have decided that the jack is either a Model T jack or one of the very early A jacks.I would like to clean it up and look for markings.What type of cleaner can you use? Just like dish soap or something?Also, where would be markings be?Thanks again. Brad 'A' Youngster
