Neoprene Seal For Rear Main ???

Recently, I purchased a new type neoprene seal for the rear main on the Model A engines.It is marketed by a couple from California and was purchased thru Bratton's.This seal involves machining the slinger ring off the crankshaft.Since I have a few engines under construction, I thought I would give it a try.Has anyone out there tried one of these seals?
