More Steering Questions

Back on April 7; Glen and Marco gave me some very good advise as to checking for looseness(play)in the steering.They did an excellent step by step instruction from the steering sector to the end of the wheels. I went through every step and took my time to visually check each item(steering sector, drag link, king pins, tie rod, radius rod/socket, steering arm, etc).I further tried to make adjustments to the steering box (top & side) and found very little adjustment could be made.The only item that I found was the wheel bearings seemed a little loose(have new ones on the way). My steering wheel has about 2.5 inches of free play(measuring on outside of wheel). Could the problem be in the steering box(worm gear, two tooth sector, bearings, etc)?Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.Thanks Frank - Knoxville, TN.
