Front Tire rubbing fender

Does anyone know how to cure a problem of the front tire
rubbing the fender on sharp turns?This occurs when turning the wheel sharp during parking but, not when negotiating curves. I just put on two new Firestone 440/450 21" tires on the front of my `29 pickup.
Didn`t have the problem with the old tires, which were a
a bit worn.Could it be the Firestone tires have a wider side
wall and heavier tread that might cause this?Anyone know
a cure?Thanks.
