Carburetor Settings

Can somebody with more experience than I have, school me on the initial settings for a Zenith. In particular, I need to know about where the choke/mixture valve should be set. My tudor seems to be running rich and I would like to know how it should be tweeked from the choke/knob. I know how to work the choke, it's the mixture adjustment I'm not sure of.
