Much has been written regarding the fuel requirements of the Model A, as well as the proper engine, transmission, and rear-end oils. However, I have not come across anything on the corect grease to use for the wheel bearings, u-joint, front-end parts, etc. I am under the impression that back in the old days, there were specific greases for different jobs.Printed on the cartridge of some water-pump grease I recently bought was an explanation of how this product could be used for all lubrication requirements for the Model A.I am not yet convinced -- it seems that the requirements for lubricating a water pump are different from a wheel bearing.I would greatly appreciate some insight into the application of modern lubricants for old Fords. -- Thanks
