1930 Model A Battery

I just acquired a 1930 Model A. I need a battery -- is there anything special I need to know? Also . . . the key is stuck in the ignition switch. Any suggestions on how to remove it? I am in the South Florida area, and would appreciate any help anyone might be able to give me.
