John, I just purchased my Model-A a month ago, and had the same problem with my key.It had my head spinning for awhile, this is what I discovered.You know how new cars today have a button you push in order to remove your key.MyModel-A has the same lock only its a part of the steering column.If yours is the same as mine, there's two sections to your steering column.The top part is where your key goes in.There should be another section (about 8" long) just below that.This section is your lock, & should turn left to unlock your steering column and right to release.
