I know this question has been asked before but how do you set the timing on an "A".It is usually said that when the pin goes into the indent in the timing gear the rotor should be pointing at electrode for #1.Which part of the rotor since it is several times wider than electrode? What if the indent on timing gear is so shallow that your not sure if youve found the spot (as mine is)? It seems to me I heard somewhere of using a test lamp at the points after this.How is this done? Thanx in advance.....Jack |
