1928 Model A Coupe

I have inherited may wife's grandmothers 1928 Model A Coupe.I was last driven in 1956 and has been stored in her garage unitl we moved it to our house recenty. We want to restore car but first would like to get it running and drivable before doing a comprehensive restoration.I was thinking of just doing the front end and the brakes first and just flushing and refiling the engine, transmition, radiator, and gas tank.
Is this a good way to start our do I need to go directly to a full restoration one system at a time?
