Can you identify this Sport Coupe?

Folks,
Recently I came into possession of a Sport Coupe. Unfortunately, I can't tell for certain what year it is. The engine has been replaced twice, so I can't go by that. I'm unable, for the moment, to lift the body and find the frame stamped number (and I've looked EVERYWHERE else). Because of this, I can't tell when the car was made. And because of that, Virginia DMV is giving me a real hard time issuing a Title.
Is there a chance someone could look at the car and help me identify at least what year it is? I know the car has a few additions/changes, but I'm hoping the experts out there could see past that. I'll include the link to the pictures.
