hello, jeff,

a couple of questions, if i may--- was your engine over-heating at the end of the run?

did you look at the oil dip-stick to see if you had water in the oil?

what about the history of your engine--- had someone fitted a rear main-bearing seal? --- have you taken up the play in the main bearings or made certain that the drain-pipe at the rear main cap isn't sludged?

you might have two seperate issues here--- if water is running out at the back of the engine, the head gasket could be suspect-- but the head gasket can't affect the rear main bearing oil drip.

can you be certain that the oil is coming from the rear main, and not leaking elsewhere and being blown back along the engine?

let us know what you find

carla
