Paint question

I am restoring a 31 Deluxe Roadster and am about ready for paint.I am not sure what color to paint the piece called the front belt rail (according the the diagram in The Model A as Henry Built It) also sometimes called the dash rail (I think). Anyway, it is the piece between the windshield stanchions.Should it be body color or trim color?I was at a car show last weekend and saw seven 30-31 roadsters.Some had it body color, some trim color and all of the owners insisted they were correct but couldn't tell me how they knew they were correct.I know someone out there can give me the definitive answer!Thanks, Barry
