1928 Zenith with Brass fittings

Hi Folks,

I have an early 1930 engine in my coupe and an early Zenith Carburetor mounted. It has all brass fittings and the late 28 choke arm for hand cranking the engine.Although it currently has a single venturi it may well have been a double originally. Are these carbs in greater demand?

I should have the common run of the mill Zenith-I Carb with all cad plated steel fitting on my car to be correct, but I must admit all that polished brass sure do look perty!I do have some shaft wear when the throttle is full open.Any suggestions on how to build up the shaft? Also does anyone know what this restored carb is worth on the market?Just curious as I may wish to update it in the future! Thanks for the help.

Regards,

Kevin Daly
