Hey MRR

You obviously have a passion for the Zenith and it's history! With that in mind, let me give you an update on my carb.

It is a Zenith only. Not a 1,2 or 3.

The upper casting has a "Z" on the neck.

The lower casting has an inverted #25 on the section of the body that faces theengine.

It has all polished brass plugs and hardware.

The brass throttle arm as MBO stamped on front.

The brass double choke arm is forged with no markings.

There are no bosses for the double venturi. (Mid 28)

There's a steel cad plated pinned choke driver

I place it in a six month production run from mid 28 through the beginning of 29.I have a feeling it may be worth more than the Zenith-1 as it's hardware is far more rare no to mention robust in comparison to the cad plated steel hardware. It's also in gorgeous shape. There's slight ware on the throttle shaft but this could be easily repaired.

What do you think I should ask for it if I were to sell it?Just ball park.I wouldn't expect more than that without you seeing it.

Thanks for the help,

Kevin Daly
