You know maybe I am missing something here with this title business and all. I called Broadway and another one located in Alabama and they want a fortune. Soooo, I went to the Secretary of States office (Michigan), Did what they asked ie....weight slip, vin numbers, proof of ownership ( a letter from the owner previously, or relative, or assembled receipts) and gave them a whole eleven dollars. They were very helpful. Wasnt like a IRS audit or anything. And low and behold in ten days I had a title. Why would anyone in there right mind pay three hundred dollars, transfer the vehicle into some outfits name in New Hampshire, to have it transfered back to you just to obtain a title? ( Yes I did call) The worst senario here is, you pay the tax on the value amount you paid for the vehicle, or go the assembled vehicle route. Maybe its just me, but I pay into the system as a taxpayer so we can have a sec. of state. Why not use them. Sorry if this sounds like I am preaching, but I guess the price these title outfits want seems to me to be a little steep.

Larry
