I was not aware of that.Can I assume that pertains to 28-29's which typically had the date on the firewall?I guess there is no reason why it would have been done differently in '31 though...

: : Well, to echo what David said, I would *suspect* that the truck's build date followed the engine build date by a month or so.It is probably dependent on where the car itself was built.For instance, my '31 deluxe tudor, which was built at the Houston plant, has a mid june date (on the engine) but the date stamped on the firewall is 7-23-31, which I assume is the date that the car was built.
