hello, david,
the water pump shaft is a relatively simple turn and mill job-- see if you can find a source for a piece of 440A stainless centerless ground to size-- those shafts were .625 od if i remember correctly, and i'll make up a few.
it'd be nice to have a copy of the original dwg, tho, instead
of copying someone's else part.
