Do not forget the hinges

Al,
Sometimes the hinges are 'sprung open and that can cause missalignment. The gap at the door post should be the same at all hinge points. If it is not then the hinges where the gap is too wide must be flattend or the hinges where the gap is too narrow must be opened. There should be 1/8 tp 1/4 inch gap.
One comment about changing the body pads. The hood alignment is also affected when you modify the pads under the cowl section.
