| There has been plenty of discussion of the merits (or not) of a counterbalanced crank in an A, plus the requisite lightening of the flywheel.Does any one have any experience or comment about doing this with the multiple disk clutch flywheel? It shouldn't be a problem...remove metal in the places seemingly obvious to the machinest in non-critical locations. The work is sitting in progress on the lathe, but if anyone has any comments... Getting it together like this with a complete balance job should take a lot of the vibration out from that solid front motor mount. It will also run inserts and a few other internal mods. It is going in the truck in the picture. |
