Float Valve

My Zenith carb. leaks and I think it's the float valve. I want to replace it with one I saw in Brattion's catalog, a modern, needle type rubber tip float valve used on modern cars. Doe's anyone have any experience with this valve? What modern cars is it used on? Thank you for any advice. Dick Riemer
