Bob,
Are you sure of the end date of the 2-piece splash aprons?That's the first I've heard of it.What was your source of information?
I have heard that the 1931-style of radiator shells appeared late in 1930 on deluxe cars and that the 1930-style shells were continued on 1931 cars thru January 1931, but I hadn't ever heard about the splash shield theory.
