I have a book named "The Ford Model, As Henry Built It". It listed your engin number being build in Jun. of 1931.But, what if the engine has been replaced???They were supposed to stamp the serial number of the engine on the chassis when the engine was installed on the chassis. If so it should be located on the top of the left frame near the clutch pedal. However, using this is not a good way to set manufacture date because of the long wait (sometimes) from engine manufacture till installation. But, for you the vehicle does sound like a '31. -Dale
