If you're planning to show your car under MAFCA/MARC judging guidelines, take a look at the section about fenders and see if those bolts are specifically mentioned.

On building my show '31 Tudor, I consulted the book "Model A Chassis Parts" extensively for bolt/fastener finishes.For your example, I'd look up FRONT FENDERS and then find the bracket part number.Right under that, Ford listed the bolts, washers, nuts, cotters needed.The part number of each of these usually have a suffix, like -S1.There's a table in the book that lists each suffix and the finish that was originally on the part.
