Steering wheel removal

I'm new to Model A restoration and need information on the
basic procedure for removing the steering wheel.If it makes
a difference, I've got a '29 Tudor.I've removed the large nut
that looks like it holds the wheel on, but nothing moves.Is
the wheel a press fit over splines, does it have a key, or
what?I thought about making a puller, but I was afraid of
breaking something since I really don't know how it is
assembled.
