Ah, hard to belive that amount of time has gone by! I was assuming that we talking about Original Tags, with the proper Body series number stamped and some sequence number too.
One thing I found in all the years of doing As, that seldom can one say "never!" I remember once, years ago a 'master judge' (well, this predates the present system!) told me of various things that were "wrong" on my car, a two-owner vehicle with one restoration (mine!) and few parts replaced. Later documentation showed my car to be correct! (And I never got to say, "I told you so!!" oh, guess I just did, but the guy's dead now.)
Anyway, enough garage tales, I will anticipate some future neat article on the Briggs vs Murray S/W sedan issue! Keep up the great work.
