I think Marco is very close to the correct number. I would say around 100,000. It is very easy to get a good guess on the number of Model As that are owned by club members. However how many are there that are not owned by club members ? A while back someone made a calculation based on how many A400 were known by the A400 club. I think they came up with 250,000. The problem with that calculation is that it assumes that the percentage of surving Model As and A400s are the same. This is unlikely since A400s being a high end model are more likely to survive. 100,000 would be 2% of the production, quite good for 70 years including a world war scrap metal drive.
