??? Fenders - How to tell the difference ???

I have 29 Sports Coupe. My rear fenders are BAD! Does anyone know if there are any measurments that can help me find the right one's?? I found one, but it looked like the right one, but it does not fit right! Will a set of 30 fenders work? Will fenders off of a sedan fit? Any help clearing this up will be grealy appreciated.
