While attempting to restore the jigsaw puzzle in my basement and garage also known as a 30 CC Pickup I turn to this board every day for any bits of advice/knowledge which the many contributers possess. Here's a puzzler. The emergency brake levers which attach to the cross shaft (not the ones at the wheel) are different sizes. One is 4 inches long and the other is 3 1/2 inches long. The shapes are identical. There is no reference to differences in these levers in the standards and Bratton's very helpful catalog doesn't list them or show a schematic of these components. Any ideas as to what I have? If I put them back on 'mismatched' will I have any problems adjusting the emergency brake? Thanks for your help. Jay |
