the assembly of all six wheels is now complete.
all i can say is that those of you that can
accomplish the job without reaching for the
tire iron are a lot smarter than i am.

perhaps the addition of the 5" wheel flaps
makes a difference in ease of installation?
i used the flaps, so maybe this factored into
play.

in any event, i was using the mount from
the backside method.getting the last
third of the back of the tire was where
the trouble started and the tire iron came
out.i tried copious amounts of lubrication
(soap, pledge furniture polish, etc.)
and tried to keep the tire bead in the
drop center as advised, but that last third
of the tire was a beast.

anyway it's done, and there's only a couple
of chips on each wheel (all on the backside of the rim),
so i'll keep all the other suggestions about
the lug nuts in mind when it's time to
mount them on the car.

for future reference, i think the trash bag
method as described by some of you that
responded is probably the way to go.

thanks for all the suggestions,
