Hello Everyone, I have one piece of wood left to install on my top wood kit in my 160-B Town Sedan. You guessed it, the header.I have been told many different things on how to get the piece in.I talked to a body guy today that said he could get it in there with some cutting and rewelding but he said to ask everyone I knew before we went ahead with that. So, do you need to do cutting and things? If so, what is the best method? We thought you could probably cut the front supports just below the rain gutter and tip it forward, slide in header and reweld. The wood would burn a bit but not too much.Any thoughts?? Thanks, |
