No spark from coil

After flushing the radiator on my 1930 Tudor I drained the rusty cleaner and water from the engine, filled the radiator with fresh water and fired up the engine - nothing. The car was running fine until I turned it off to change the water but wouldn't start up again.I checked for the presence of electricity at the terminal block, both poles on the coil, the starter andat the cut out. They eachshowed 6 volts but I couldn't get a spark from the high tension wire coming from the coil going into the distributor.Turning on the key and taking off the top of the distibuter to open the points with a screw driver again showed no spark.Being "electrically challenged "I am now at a loss as to the solutionto this little roadblock.Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.
