I have had just the opposite experience in my area of Texas, the '30 & '31 plates are all over the place, especially the '30's but '28 and mostly '29 are really hard to find and when you do they are $200 minimum for a set of unrestored. I've been looking for a set of '28 commercial, if you run into some let me know. Thanks, John : Here in Texas plates bring a high price beacuse they can be used on one's car, must be matched sets (front and rear), and are in very high demand.I know of individuals who pay $150 to $300 for a nice reastored set.I purchased a set (1930) at a meet last week (asking price $95) for $50 and will spent another $50. Having them restored.28 and 29 plates are easier to come by then 30 or 31.Happy searching.
