I used the sealer advertised in the Eastwood catalog on one of my antique tractors once. It had such a rust problem that I would have to stop all the time and clean the sediment bowl. I was fortunate enought to be able to remove the tank from the tractor. I actually used a garden hose and blasted the rust flakes out. It was a really mess. I want really happy still, so I mixed up a solution of Muratic acid(swimming pool type) and water and slushed this around with a piece of chain, to dislodge any half flaked particles. Dryed it out with a air gun and let it sit overnight. I mixed the compounds together and rotated the tank per instructions. You really need to be moveing this stuff around as it starts setting up quick. This was three years ago and no problems still. Hope this helps and good luck.

I believe the key was the prep before the sealers. I spent a few days getting the big particles dislodged.
