: I hope that Bob C. fellow from Dallas doesnt see my note, I just read one of his responses.....I too just bought a beautiful restoredmodel A and I don't know zip about them.
: But I'm learning.....

James,
Congratulations with your acquisition. Don't worry about Bob,
he has a lot of good sound advice to offer.

I don't know about the clear hose, they tend to get very cloudy, I use one on the pool (sorry Bob) between the pump and filter, it's clear for about a week. I don't know if it would stand up to the heat either.

I'd go with Rick's advice but if you're worried about a break down, take some early Saturday morning jaunts and become familiar with your "Lady", learn to give maintenance and she will treat you right. Hopefully Momma won't become jealous of the other lady....

One more thing, get the books. The five books "How to Restore Your Model A, Les Andrew's "Mechanic's Hand Book", "The Operation Manual" and "The Service Bulletins" are a good start to how to maintain your A. These are all available from the major part suppliers.

Good Luck,
GW
