1930 Town Sedan door locks

My question is about the door locks on the 30 town sedans.
Mine is a older restoration that I recently purchased.On the inside of the driver door, and the two rear doors a lever is located to lock the door.On the front passenger door there is NO lever inside. However, on the outside of the
front pass door there is a place beneath the door handle to put a key (dime size chrome key hole).If I put the key in and turn the key, and it only goes 1/4 turn to the left, and
the door locks. Sounds fine, BUT the key will not come out! I have to unlock it to get the key out. Any ideas??
How much of the above is original and correct?
