Steering Grease

The latest Restorer has two articles on the use of grease in the steering box. The Tech Editor says no way. Another person describes a Ford grease made especially for steering boxes and has used it for 30 years in A's. Has anyone given it a try? For the club driver with limited yearly mileage, is this perhaps the solution to leaky gear boxes?
