: Steve,

: You have the wrong engine mount. Both Snyder's (330)549-5313 and Bratton's (301)253-1929 have diagrams and replacement kits virtually identical to the original setup (3 coil & 1 flat spring6 Bucks!).I had a system the same as the one you describe and the rubber mounts were as hard as a rock.I replaced it with the kit and the springs offer better support and shock absorption. If your not replacing your's,there's a castle nut under the front cross member to adjust the front tilt up or down. I you loosen it and the front doesn't come up, you may need a replacement system as your rubber mounts may have taken a set in their current position.

: Good Luck,

Thanks Kevin

I thought there was something not right about it. It certainly
made it hard to get leverage when using the hand crank. Do you
know where that mount originated from?

Steve
