| AC&R in Redding California has a nifty tool for the removal of the door hinge pins.You bolt this tool to your hinge and tighten it - it should press the pins out of the hinge. Experience has shown me that removing these pins is not a slam-dunk - after 65-70 years, those little suckers don't always want to come out.Lots of penetrating oil (and careful swings with a big hammer) also help "urge" the pins out of the hinges.Take your time. |
