door hinges

I have a 30' Closed cab pickup that the passenger side door is constantly coming unlatched when I hit a bumb.The door pins seem to be a little worn but trying to remove them has been a major chore.Is there a trick to removeing the pins or is there another route I could take to keep my door latched. (My wife gets a little nervous )
