: Relating to the 31 Tudor for sale...Is a Deluxe the one with the autolite heating element? If so then it's a deluxe for sale.

Hi Mark. The Deluxe Tudor was introduced mid-1931 and today it's pretty rare. The easiest way to tell if the 1931 Tudor you're looking at is a standard or deluxe is to look at the interior.

The Standard interiors in 1930-1931 were all the same. The Deluxe interior though looked more like a Victoria - deluxe upholstery fabrics (usually Mohair), dome light, arm rests in the rear seats, carpeting front and rear, adjustable drivers seat (on tracks), etc.

The manifold heater was an accessory that could be found on ANY Model A.
