Painting an Engine

Hi,
I am going to be taking the head off of my engine and then putting in new gaskets and stuff all around.I was told to paint individual parts of engine before I put together so that it looks nicer.Going to do that.However I know that a majoirty is ford green, I have that.I also know that alot is black,is this gloss black or flat or what??Also could someone run down the list of parts black vs. green? that would be great.
