I drive my Coupe a lot, about 10,000 miles a year. I filter the oil and currently run an air maze on my carb. I've seen the inside of engines that were run without an air filter and they looked like sandpaper had worn away the cylinder walls. A 200 cubic inch Model A engine is a large one, even by today's standards. The size of current repo AirMaze would seem to be better fitted to a smaller engine. I have a 64 cubic inch motorcycle 750cc and it uses a larger air filter.

I don't mean to ramble on here, I just want to find a better way to clean the air that goes into my pride and joy, or to more accurately put it, "money pit".Your extension tube idea
makes sense to me, and as a side benifet may even run quieter since the extension should muffle some of the sound of rushing air.
