Window rising

My door windows on my `29 pickup like to rise by themselves when fully opened. The window will rise about 3 - 4 inches above the door frame and then stay put. I have the window crank handle at its lowest position when the window is open. I did lubricate the riser gear and the track the riser arm moves in at the bottom of the window when I replaced the glass and this may be the problem.The window did rise before I replaced the glass, also.Any help in keeping my windows lowered when opened will be appreciated.
