The quadrant was painted gloss black enamel, the levers were polished nickel. : I am restoring a 1929 Tudor assembled in June of the same year. The upper shaft bushing is nickel plated zinc die cast without the insert. The Model A judging standards do not give the finish required for the quadrant plate that goes under the spark and throttle rods. : The quadrant plate I have is in good condition. It is currently sandblasted to bare metal. : What is the correct finish required for the quadrant and what is the common finish applied to the quadrant? |
