I am restoring a 1929 Tudor assembled in June of the same year. The upper shaft bushing is nickel plated zinc die cast without the insert. The Model A judging standards do not give the finish required for the quadrant plate that goes under the spark and throttle rods. The quadrant plate I have is in good condition. It is currently sandblasted to bare metal. What is the correct finish required for the quadrant and what is the common finish applied to the quadrant? |
