Mr. Riemer,
Does your engine have a lot of miles on it? If so, you may have "blow by" which is from worn piston rings. I know of guys running this way and don't mind the mess. If you notice it getting worse and worse you should consider some engine work.
But some oil vapor is normal as the "A" doesn't have a PVC system like the modern buggies.
