How Good are Model A's for driving on soft sand Beach?

I am contemplating buying Model A pickup or roadster pickup
for general use, but occaisionally drive to North Carlina
beaches.Two major questions
What is comfortable cruising speed on secondary roads?
How good are these vehicles when driving on soft sand?
I am assuming I can get radial tires with appropriate tread and drop air pressure, but will lightweight of Model A allow me to go lots of places that 4x4's go?
